ജമ്മു കശ്മീരില്‍ പൂഞ്ച് ഹൈവേയില്‍ അക്നൂർ പ്രദേശത്ത് ബസ് കൊക്കയിലേക്ക് മറിഞ്ഞ് 15 പേർ മരിച്ചു. 30 പേർക്ക് പരിക്കേറ്റിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഉത്തർപ്രദേശിലെ ഹാത്രസില്‍നിന്ന് ജമ്മുവിലെ ശിവ്ഘോരിയിലേക്കുള്ള യാത്രക്കാരാണ് ബസിലുണ്ടായിരുന്നത്.

പരുക്കേറ്റവരെ സമീപത്തെ ആശുപത്രിയിലേക്ക് മാറ്റി. രക്ഷാപ്രവർത്തനം പുരോഗമിക്കുകയാണെന്ന് അധികൃതർ അറിയിച്ചു. അമ്പത് പേരായിരുന്നു വാഹനത്തിലുണ്ടായിരുന്നത്. ഇവരില്‍ ഏറെയും യു.പി, രാജസ്ഥാൻ, ഹരിയാണ എന്നിവിടങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്നുള്ള തീർഥാടകരായിരുന്നു.
