ബെംഗളൂരു: നഗരത്തിലെ ഇലക്ട്രിക് സ്‌കൂട്ടര്‍ ചാര്‍ജിങ്ങ് പോയന്റില്‍ വന്‍ തീപ്പിടുത്തം. കനകപുര റോഡിലെ യെലച്ചെനഹള്ളി മെട്രോ സ്റ്റേഷനോട് ചേർന്ന ബഹുനില കെട്ടിടത്തിലാണ് തീപിടിത്തം ഉണ്ടായത്. ഡോമിനോസ് പീസ പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്ന കെട്ടിടത്തിന്റെ പാർക്കിംഗ് ഏരിയയിലുണ്ടായ തീപിടിത്തം സമീപത്തെ ഇലക്ട്രിക് സ്കൂട്ടർ ചാർജ് പോയിന്റിലേക്ക് പടരുകയായിരുന്നു. വ്യാഴാഴ്ച രാവിലെ 7 മണിയോടെയാണ് തീപിടുത്തമുണ്ടായത്.

തീപടര്‍ന്നതിന് പിന്നാലെ പാർക്കിംഗ് ഏരിയയിൽ വച്ചിരുന്ന ഗ്യാസ് സിലിണ്ടറികളിലൊന്ന് പൊട്ടിത്തെറിച്ചു. 6 സിലിണ്ടറുകൾ കൂടി അവിടെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു എങ്കിലും പൊട്ടിത്തെറിക്കാതിരുന്നത് വലിയ ദുരന്തം ഒഴിവാക്കി. 19 ഇലക്ട്രിക് സ്കൂട്ടറുകൾ കത്തി നശിച്ചു. പീസ ഡെലിവറി വാഹനവും കത്തിനശിച്ചു. അഗ്നിശമന സേനയുടെ രണ്ട് ഫയർ എഞ്ചിനുകൾ തീ നിയന്ത്രണവിധേയമാക്കി. സംഭവത്തില്‍ ആളപായമില്ല.
