ബെംഗളൂരു: നമ്മ മെട്രോയുടെ പര്പ്പിള് ലൈനിലെ കെങ്കേരി സ്റ്റേഷനില് യുവാവ് ട്രെയിനിന് മുന്നില്ചാടി ജീവനൊടുക്കി. വിജയപുര ദേവരഹിപ്പരഗി സ്വദേശി ശാന്തഗൗഡ പാട്ടീൽ (38) ആണ് മരിച്ചത്. വെള്ളിയാഴ്ച രാവിലെ 8 മണിയോടെയാണ് സംഭവം.
സംഭവത്തെ തുടർന്ന് പർപ്പിൾ ലൈനില് ഒരു മണിക്കൂറിൽ അധികം സമയം സർവീസുകൾ തടസ്സപ്പെട്ടു. മൈസൂർ റോഡ് – ചല്ലഘട്ട സെക്ഷനിൽ സർവീസ് താൽക്കാലികമായി നിർത്തിവച്ചു. തിരക്കേറിയ സമയമായതിനാല് ആയിരക്കണക്കിന് യാത്രക്കാർക്ക് ബുദ്ധിമുട്ട് നേരിടേണ്ടിവന്നു.
