വിശാഖപട്ടണം: ആന്ധ്രപ്രദേശിലെ അല്ലാൂരി സീതാരാമരാജു (ASR) ജില്ലയിൽ റോഡ് നിർമാണ പ്രവർത്തനത്തിനിടെയുണ്ടായ സ്ഫോടനത്തിലും തീപിടിത്തത്തിലും 7 പേർ ദാരുണമായി കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ടു. ശനിയാഴ്ച രാവിലെ 8.30ഓടെ അനന്തഗിരി പിനകോട്ട ഗ്രാമത്തിലാണ് അപകടം നടന്നത്. പിക്കപ്പിൽ ഡീസൽ നിറയ്ക്കുന്നതിനിടെയാണ് തീപിടിത്തമുണ്ടായത്.

#Alluri Sitarama Raju (#AndhraPradesh), October 24: Five people, including a government school teacher and road construction workers, were killed on Saturday morning when gelatin sticks exploded at a road-widening site on a ghat road in Ananthagiri mandal of Alluri Sitarama Raju district.
The incident occurred around 8–8.30 am near Pinakota / Gummanthi village while work was underway to expand the road in the remote agency area. Preliminary reports indicate that a fire broke out while workers were refuelling a vehicle (a pickup or tipper) with diesel. The fire then triggered the explosion of gelatin sticks that were being used for rock blasting at the site.
Among the dead was Sunitha, a teacher at the MPP School in Maddirebu village (Pinakota panchayat), who was travelling along the road on her way to school and was killed on the spot. The other victims have been identified as workers Mani (from Devarapalli), Narayana Rao (from Cheedikada), Pavan Kumar (from the Kakinada/Kadapa region), and the driver of one of the vehicles involved.
Two construction vehicles were completely destroyed in the blast. Police and rescue teams reached the spot and recovered the bodies. Superintendent of Police Amit Bardar described the initial incident as an accidental fire caused while refuelling, which was followed by a powerful explosion.
Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the exact cause and sequence of events. The tragedy has cast a pall of gloom over the remote area, particularly because a teacher heading to duty was among the victims.

പിക്കപ്പിലാണ് ആദ്യം തീപിടിത്തമുണ്ടായത്. പിന്നീട് സമീപത്തുണ്ടായിരുന്ന ട്രക്കിലേക്കും ഇരുചക്രവാഹനത്തിലേക്കും തീ പടർന്നു. മൂന്നു വാഹനങ്ങളും പൂർണമായും കത്തിനശിച്ചു.
പാറകൾ പൊട്ടിക്കാനായി സൂക്ഷിച്ചിരുന്ന സ്ഫോടകവസ്തുക്കൾക്ക് (ജലാറ്റിൻ സ്റ്റിക്ക്) അപ്രതീക്ഷിതമായി തീപിടിച്ചാണ് ഈ ദുരന്തം ഉണ്ടായത്. ജോലിയിലുണ്ടായിരുന്ന തൊഴിലാളികളാണ് മരിച്ചവരിലേറെയും. ഈ ദുർഘടമായ സാഹചര്യത്തിൽ പരിക്കേറ്റവർക്ക് ആവശ്യമായ അടിയന്തര ചികിത്സയും ദുരിതബാധിതർക്ക് സഹായവും ലഭ്യമാക്കാനുള്ള ശ്രമങ്ങൾ അധികൃതരുടെ ഭാഗത്തുനിന്ന് നടക്കുന്നുണ്ട്.

തീപിടുത്തത്തിലേക്ക് നയിച്ച കൃത്യമായ സാഹചര്യങ്ങൾ വ്യക്തമല്ല, സംഭവത്തിന്റെ കാരണം ഇതുവരെ അധികൃതർ സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചിട്ടില്ല. മരിച്ചവരുടെ പേരുവിവരങ്ങൾ ഇതുവരെ സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചിട്ടില്ല. മരിച്ചവർ നിർമ്മാണ തൊഴിലാളികളാണോ അതോ വഴിയാത്രക്കാരാണോ എന്നും ഇതുവരെ അറിവായിട്ടില്ല.
തീപ്പിടുത്തത്തിൽ കത്തി നശിച്ച ബൊലേറോ ക്യാമ്പറും ടിപ്പർ ലോറിയും റോഡ് നിർമ്മാണ ജോലികളിൽ ഏർപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്ന കരാറുകാരന്റേതാണെന്ന് പ്രാഥമിക വിവരങ്ങൾ സൂചിപ്പിക്കുന്നു. തീപിടിത്തമുണ്ടായപ്പോൾ സ്ഥലത്ത് എത്ര പേർ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു എന്നോ അവരിൽ ആരെങ്കിലും ഡീസൽ നിറയ്ക്കൽ പ്രവർത്തനത്തിൽ നേരിട്ട് ഉൾപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നോ എന്നോ വ്യക്തമല്ല. സംഭവത്തിൽ പോലീസ് അന്വേഷണം ആരംഭിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്
